Andy Fellows, Chesapeake Regional Director
Andy has worked for Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund since 1999, and was named as Chesapeake Regional Director in 2008. Previous to coming to Clean Water Action, Andy served as the Deputy Director of Save Our Streams, a Maryland non-profit that pioneered “adopt-a-stream” strategies for local engagement for protection and restoration of waterways. He has over 30 years of grassroots organizing, lobbying, electoral, media, development, and management experience.
He is also the Mayor of College Park since being sworn in on December 8, 2009. He previously represented the 3rd District on the College Park City Council from 2001-2007, and has served on the Metropolitan Washington Council of Government’s Board of Directors, the Transportation Planning Board and Chesapeake Bay and Water Resources Policy Committee. He also currently serves by appointment of the Governor on the Maryland Commission on Environmental Justice and Sustainable Communities.
He and his wife Elizabeth live in the College Park Estates neighborhood with their cat “Lukie,” and enjoy movies, reading, walking and rooting for the Orioles, which has paid off since they have finally started winning again.
Greg Walker, Washington, DC Canvass Director
Greg
has been with Clean Water Action since the summer of 2010 when he was
hired as a canvasser. Over the past three years, he has worked as a
Trainer, Field Manager, and Assistant Canvass Director, assuming the
role of Canvass Director in August 2012. A New Hampshire native, Greg
has been living in DC since 2006 and received a BA in International
Studies and Environmental Politics from American University in 2010. He
enjoys getting to work with maps, and leading the crews to work on
different campaigns in DC, Maryland and Virginia.
Tinsley Murphy, Field Canvass Administrator
