* Until he retired in January, 2001, after 37 years of service, Jim was the USEPA’s principal expert for small community wastewater collection, treatment, and reuse systems, including onsite systems and community-based environmental processes.  Since that time, he has performed several domestic and international consulting assignments, primarily with Tetra Tech, Inc, but also for the Canaan Valley Institute, West Virginia University, Hydromantis (CAN), and others. Additionally, Jim is a member of the Decentralized Research Advisory Committee of the Water Environment Research Foundation.
