Clean Water Action, on behalf of the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, invites you to attend a free workshop on Rhode Island's Clean Diesel Program.

There are two dates and locations available:

  • Newport Best Western Mainstay Inn
    February 17, 2010    9:00AM-3:00PM
  • Warwick Comfort Inn Airport Hotel
    February 18, 2010    9:00AM-3:00PM

Workshop Topics

  • Why are diesel emissions a health concern?
  • What options are available to reduce diesel emissions?
  • What is Rhode Island doing to address diesel emissions?
  • How can you obtain funding to reduce emissions from your diesel fleet?  

Who Should Attend?

  • State agencies that operate diesel vehicles or equipment
  • City/town Public Works fleet and equipment managers
  • School bus fleet owners and operators
  • Construction companies with diesel equipment
  • Concerned citizens
