Event: “The Facts about Our Energy Future”- Edina

Description: In 2007 Minnesota passed one of the strongest renewable energy standards in the nation. Minnesota is a leader in the production of wind energy. This market is moving rapidly, creating jobs, and developing newer and better technologies. Although our movement forward with renewable energy is strong, some politicians would like to see us go backwards to the dark days of fossil fuels. At this Clean Energy Event we will discuss why renewable energy is the energy future for MN and how we can stay on top. J. Drake Hamilton of Fresh Energy will give insight into policy and Michelle Schroeder of GreenStep Cities will discuss our progress towards more sustainable communities.
