Our Field and Phone canvass programs include extensive training and work on environmental issues and politics, grassroots lobbying, organizing and fundraising, solid leadership and rapid advancement to leadership positions.
Most interns work minimum 15-20 hours per week for the semester; however, each internship experience is tailored to the candidate to ensure the maximal benefit. There is an option for a paid internship at $10/hr if they work in tandem with the programs department and field canvass. Interns will have mid-semester evaluation.
Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund will be hiring a part-time Environmental Health & Justice Organizer in our Boston office to support the organizations’ Massachusetts campaigns to prevent harm to our health from toxic chemicals.

Michigan Clean Water Action is looking for university/college level student interns who are interested in environmental issues and/or non-profit work. We are looking for students who are motivated and organized to help us with different aspects of environmental protection. Interns will have the opportunity to plan local events, write blogs and letters to the editor, and organize volunteers for a variety of tasks. Interns will also work with policy and campaign staff to ensure that legislative representatives make Michigan’s environment a priority for 2013.
