What is Canvassing?
Professional field and telephone canvassing is a valuable means of fundraising, outreach and education for advocacy and non-profit organizations. Incorporating a canvass and effective support database management allows an organization to build an authentic grassroots membership and funding base.Canvassing is a valuable method for mobilizing members and creating visibility for legislative and issue campaigns. NJEF uses unique strategies and techniques in petitioning, targeting, voter registration, letter writing, telegram campaigns, and other grassroots campaigns.
Grassroots Advantage
The canvass is based on the philosophy that real political change should come from the grassroots up to the leaders. Non-profit organizations rely on their members for political clout: the more members, the more influence and pressure that can be put upon elected officials or business leaders to create the needed change. The canvass talks to thousands of people each day. The public is educated and called to action on issues that needs citizen participation to make the difference.Apply for a Job Today!
