Join Clean Water Action, Sierra Club, State Senator Jeff Irwin and Representative Yousef Rabhi to discuss how we can protect our water and make polluters pay!
Michigan still does not require polluting corporations to pay for the cleanup of the messes they create. Faced with another economic recession, we must get critical protections in place to ensure that industrial contamination is cleaned up and disincentivized moving forward.
As many of us, including Clean Water Fund's staff, find ourselves inside and working from home, how can we make sure those environments are as safe and healthy as possible?
Indoor air is often more polluted than outside air, due to toxins from consumer products like furniture, food packaging, and even the cleaners we use to clean, disinfect and protect ourselves from threats like COVID-19. How do we know what products have problematic chemicals and which are safer?

Both we and the City Council left that hearing with a lot of unanswered questions, so we're back for another public hearing to shine light on this urgent public health problem and how the city could better support people facing it. Join us in front of the Land Use Committee
