Jenny Vickers

Jenny manages communications activities for national and state campaigns, including advising and assisting on communication strategy and tactics. Jenny also helps to manage social media, the organization's website, and the organization's advocacy, fundraising and communications software.  Jenny works directly with the Communications and Development team in supporting online fundraising campaigns, national and state events, trainings, and more. She is also the host of Clean Water Action's podcast We All Live Downstream which highlights environmental activists both within the organization and across the country.

Formerly, the Program Assistant for the University Honors Program and Ethics Studies Program at East Carolina University, as well as Staff Writer/Editor of The East Carolinian Newspaper. She has a M.A. in International Studies from East Carolina University.

Jenny also believes in harnessing the power of supporting local businesses and shopping small - she is the owner and event curator for the Asbury Park Bazaar, a pop up marketplace which helps to foster the growth of small businesses, while delivering distinctive and enjoyable event experiences that spotlight New Jersey's exceptional retail, dining, and entertainment establishments. Jenny lives in New Jersey with her husband, daughter, cat, and dog - and is passionate about traveling, adventures, and yoga.
