Massachusetts communities are still recovering from the legacy of polluting power plants: mercury in the air, ash in the water. In this video, we interview Clean Water Action’s allies from campaigns across the state, savvy environmental warriors who have lived through environmental pollution and have scored many victories in moving toward a brighter future. 

Clean Water is working with our partners in the Green Justice Coalition (GJC) and a new technical team called Resilient Urban Neighborhoods (RUN) to explore and build out energy alternatives.

Clean energy belongs to us all, but unequal access to resources like solar, a key part of our renewable energy future, show us we have a long way to go. Clean Water Action is fighting to ensure all communities have access to renewable power and the green economy.

Clean Water is pressing the state of Massachusetts to develop systems to oversee the emerging nano-technology industry. 

Last week, Clean Water Action participated in the Joint Committee on Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment Hearing at the State House.

On May 22, Clean Water Action gathered for our Annual Spring for Water Benefit in downtown Boston at Carrie Nation Restaurant and Cocktail Bar. We had the pleasure of honoring influential leaders who are making real change, and recognized Clean Water staff member Jeff Knudsen as he heads into retirement.
