Clean Water Action has endorsed Representatives Don Beyer and Gerry Connolly for re-election, and also endorsed Jennifer Wexton, who is challenging anti-environment incumbent Barbara Comstock.

U.S. Congress:

8th Congressional District — Don Beyer

Don Beyer has been a clean water champion in the U.S. House Representatives and is leading opposition to the Trump administration's scheme to repeal and replace the Clean Water Rule which protects streams, lakes, wetlands and drinking water sources. He scored 100% on our congressional scorecard.

10th Congressional District — Jennifer Wexton

In the Virginia State Senate, Jennifer sponsored legislation to increase consumers’ access to community solar energy, mandate quicker reporting on hazardous spills in Virginia waterways, and broaden the powers of the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality to go after polluters and stop construction of natural gas pipelines. Her opponent, Barbara Comstock scored 9% on our congressional scorecard.
