We invite you to join Clean Water Action at one of our many virtual watch parties and discussions of The Story of Plastic as we draw the curtain back on the true cost of plastic.

About the Event

Clean Water Action is organizing virtual screenings and post-film discussions, hosted by Clean Water Action offices across the nation. Each screening will be followed by discussions and a Q&A with hyperlocal leaders, advocates, business members from your community.

Check out the list below to find a virtual screening closest to you or best fits into your schedule. Then sign up by clicking on the Eventbrite link when it comes available. Registration is required. You will be emailed a private link for viewing the film (you can view it on your own before the post-screening discussion or join us for a watch party during the times listed below). You will also receive a Zoom link to join the post-screening discussion!

About the Movie

The Story of Plastic documentary presents a cohesive timeline of how we got to our current global plastic pollution crisis and how the oil and gas industry has successfully manipulated the narrative around it. It introduces audiences to the heros and the villains behind one of the world’s most pressing environmental issues, from the extraction of fossil fuels to plastic disposal, and to the global resistance fighting back.
