In North America alone, more than 4 billion single-use disposable cups are tossed into landfills or incinerators every year from live events. But, for the first time, ReThink Disposable is making waves in the music scene, aiming to tackle this colossal waste. Teaming up with reusable cup providers, r.World and TURN, along with the San Francisco Environment Department, we've achieved a remarkable feat eliminating disposable cups at historic Bay Area music venues such as The Warfield, August Hall, and The Fillmore.

The results speak volumes – these venues make the switch without losing money. One venue even turned reusable cups into a major revenue stream. Last year marked a significant period of growth for ReThink Disposable, and seeing the impact through both numbers and the heartfelt testimonials from individuals and communities is truly inspiring. Check out our Case study on a reusable cup pilot at three San Francisco venues here.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates from our ReThink Disposable team in New Jersey in the weeks to come!
