Join Clean Water for a Great Lakes Day of Action cleanup alongside the Detroit River! We'll be meeting at Maheras-Gentry Park on the riverfront, cleaning up trash and litter, and recording our findings to add to the Adopt A Beach database. Buckets/bags, light snacks, and gloves will be provided as well as a hands-on educational activity for kids! All ages welcomed but registration is required and masking and/or distancing encouraged.
Spend a Saturday making our Great Lakes watershed cleaner and healthier and improving the park for all to enjoy!
Maheras-Gentry Park is located at 12550 Avondale St, Detroit, MI 48215 along the Detroit River and just south of the Bayview Yacht Club. Follow Algonquin Park Drive towards the river until it ends, and join us at the Habitat Island Pavilion. We look forward to seeing you there!
